This is common in older companies because it was previously a requirement that the articles of association contain such a regulation.<\/p>\n\n<p>The decision to remove the framework of the articles of association must be made by a majority as for an amendment to the articles of association, i.e. normally with at least 2\/3 of both represented votes and capital at <a href=\"https:\/\/dcompany.no\/funksjoner\/generalforsamling\/\">the general meeting<\/a> .  <\/p>\n\n<p>The decision to change the articles of association must be registered both in the dCompany platform and in the Br\u00f8nn\u00f8ysund registers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The articles of association may contain restrictions on how large the board must be.
