Remuneration for board members , deputy members and observers is determined by the general meeting, cf. Section 8-10 of the Companies Act.
The allowance can be approved both with effect for a period that has been and with effect for a period in the future. It has become more and more common to approve board fees in advance so that there is no uncertainty as to whether it will be approved.
The board fee must not be registered, neither in the dCompany platform nor in the Brønnøysund registers.
